Bounce into your work like a rabbit?

They say Chinese Year 2011 will be a placid year, very much welcomed and needed after the ferocious year of the Tiger (2010). We should go off to some quiet spot to lick our wounds and get some rest after all the battles of the previous year. But being placid doesn't mean you can't bounce into action like a rabbit. Get ready for the year ahead by planning your year. Whilst planning your year - think about your staffing levels - if you do not have any staff and cannot afford them then I am a very affordable alternative. Payable by the hour I will work whatever hours are needed - no holiday pay, sick pay or need to invite me to the summer party!
By the way I am worth hiring – as a Monkey – “Very clever, but mischievous. Love a challenge and can wriggle out of difficult situations by thinking through difficult problems. Highly successful and well-liked.”

The end of the tax year is nigh

Time is running out - The tax man cometh!
Your self assessment papers need to be with the tax office by 31 January 2011. I provided my tax paperwork to my accountant and he was delighted with the way I presented them to him and wished all his other clients were the same. Well I can offer this service to whoever wants it and make all accountants happier people! So why not make a change in the near future and utilise the help of a Freelance Secretary. A freelance secretary is exactly that - freelance ... a secretary with hourly rates who can come in and help with the workload, but not being a permanent member of staff will not be paid to sit around when there is not enough work to do! Keep me in mind and drop me a line if you want to chat about how I can help you in the future. Don't drown in your workload - let me help.

Twelfth Night - but are they decorations or filing?

Tonight is Twelfth Night when all Christmas Decorations should be removed so as not to bring bad luck upon the home. If decorations are not removed on Twelfth Night, they should stay up all year.
This does not mean though that if you have any paperwork that resembles Christmas decorations that these can stay where they are all year! Make this the year that you have an efficient office that looks good and not just because of your paper decorations! Give me a call and see how my magical filing skills will brighten your day!
