Did you know Bank Holidays were first introduced in the UK in 1871 by a banker who decided to close his bank and take the first Monday in May off work. Local competitors followed suit, taking days off over the traditional Easter period. A holiday revolution! This was later changed to include other dates.

Back to work with a smile!

After a lovely week on holiday I am back to work and still smiling since my first job this week is continuing with the filing of someone's paper mountains ... It's time for a break ...

I am off to enjoy a week in Sunny Cornwall - a lot of rain has been forecast but it will just be liquid sunshine. It's amazing how your mindset changes when you are about to go on a holiday!
